Wills, Trusts & Probate

Most people accept that planning for their future with the making of a Will is a good idea; it ensures that your wishes are carried out after death.

Making a Will with Guile Nicholas is a quick and easy process and can include important planning for your family’s future. Tax savings can be achieved and Trusts created to protect vulnerable relatives.

The Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) is the nationally recognised gold standard in this area of law. STEP members (TEPs) provide expert advice on how to comply with the often complex law and tax rules surrounding trusts, estates and inheritance. We have STEP accredited experts at both our Finchley and Kingston offices.

New for 2013 – Free advice clinic on Tuesday afternoons at our Finchley office

Starting on Tuesday 5th February 2013, we are offering a FREE advice clinic. The service is open to anyone wanting to discuss wills, trusts, Court of Protection matters, powers of attorney and probate. This might include a review of your existing will and consideration of whether or not you need to change it. It is wise to review your will every five years. If you have recently divorced or had children then a review of any existing will is needed. Re-marrying will invalidate any will made before the re-marriage. There’s no obligation to instruct us after the free consultation. Call for an appointment or just turn up between 2 pm and 4.30 pm on a Tuesday and you can meet one of our staff who can talk things through with you.
