Court of Protection – Solicitor Wanted

We are looking for a Newly Qualified to 3 year PQE Court of Protection solicitor to join our expanding, friendly and dynamic team.

We primarily represent P in welfare cases, most frequently instructed on P’s behalf by the Official Solicitor, and we also represent family members. Experience of mental capacity matters, best interests and welfare issues in the Court of Protection is essential. Accredited Legal Representative status is preferable; in any event you will be fully supported in achieving this accreditation.

We are looking for someone who has experience in representing P, by his/her litigation friend the Official Solicitor, you should be be conscientious, driven, organised, and work well in a team.

If you are a Law Society Accredited Mental Health Panel Member and would like to consider applying your established skills to CoP work (with support, supervision and training), please also feel free to contact us.

The Offer

Wills, Trusts & Probate – Solicitor Wanted

We are looking to recruit a Wills, Trusts & Probate solicitor (or equivalent) to join our team at our North Finchley office in Barnet.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Wills, Trusts & Probate cases; STEP accreditation is preferred but not essential. The role will certainly suit someone working towards STEP accreditation which will be fully supported by the firm.

The successful candidate will have a caseload of wills, trusts and probate matters and will supervise a small team of 2-3 fee earners.

This is an associate solicitor position within the firm. We are looking for someone with ambition to help grow the department and build upon our excellent local reputation. Career progression is encouraged and commitment is highly valued.

Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience, package includes:
