Work Experience

Work experience opportunities at GN Law

At GN Law, we are committed to supporting the next generation of legal professionals by offering work experience opportunities to students and graduates who are considering a career in law.

Due to the nature of our work in legal aid law, much of what we do involves highly sensitive and confidential matters. As a result, we are unfortunately unable to offer work experience placements to GCSE or A-Level students.

Our work experience programme is therefore generally available to university students, law graduates and those undertaking postgraduate legal studies, who are at a stage in their legal education where they can gain meaningful insight into legal practice while maintaining the confidentiality of our clients and cases.

How To Apply

If you are interested in undertaking work experience with GN Law, please send your CV and a covering letter to hr@gnlaw.co.uk.

Your covering letter should include:

  • Your preferred dates and the length of placement you are seeking.
  • Why you would like to undertake work experience at GN Law.
  • The area(s) of law you are interested in gaining experience in.
  • Your current stage of legal education (for example, Law Degree, GDL, SQE, LPC or equivalent).

Applicants are also asked to complete our equal opportunities form as part of the application process.

Please note that work experience placements are limited and offered subject to business needs and departmental capacity.
