On the 6th April 2014, the long standing statutory discrimination questionnaire will cease to exist. The current provisions for dealing with statutory discrimination questionnaire are currently contained within the Equality Act 2010. After 6th April 2014, the procedure will be replaced with a more informal approach. ACAS has published non-binding good practice guidance for employers on how to deal with questions concerning discrimination in the workplace under this more informal regime.
