Islington Support Payment Scheme

Our People - Luke Cowles
6 June, 2022

The Islington Support Payment Scheme is now live for those who suffered non-recent abuse at a care home under the authority of Islington Council.

The scheme offers a support payment of up to £10,000. It is currently live until May 2024.

There are 4 stages to the support payment scheme:

  1. Submission of the application
  2. ID confirmation checks
  3. Assessment of the application
  4. Referral to an Independent Appeal Panel (if necessary)

GN Law are assisting clients in completing this process. This includes assisting in drafting statements or obtaining care records before/after submission of the application as appropriate.

We take an empathetic and patient approach to your case because we recognise this can be distressing.

Please get in contact with Luke Cowles, Director/Solicitor 020 8492 2292 or by email lc@gnlaw.co.uk if you have any queries at all.
