Hannah Sweeney

Head of Mental Health

Hannah Sweeney is an Associate Solicitor and Head of the Mental Health Department. Hannah has worked at GN Law since October 2014 and qualified as a solicitor in May 2017.

About Hannah

Hannah specialises in Mental Health law and also works within the Court of Protection team. Hannah regularly represents both forensic and civil clients at the First-tier Tribunal (Mental Health), Hospital Managers’ Hearings and also has experience dealing with nearest relative displacement proceedings. Hannah is also Legal Aid Agency Supervisor and is based across our North Finchley office and our Tring office.

  • University of East Anglia, LLB with European Legal Systems (2:1 Hons) (2014)
  • Hannah started her Legal Practice Course and training contract with GN Law (2015)
  • Admitted to the Mental Health Tribunal Panel (2016)

  • Caseworker for Mental Health Solicitor in Norwich (2014)
  • Assistant Mental Health Act Administrator, Cygnet Healthcare Stevenage (2014)
  • GN Law (2014-present)

Personal Interests and Activities 

Hannah enjoys travelling, reading and spending time with friends and family.
