Lewis Spirgel-Sinclair is a solicitor in the Mental Health department and an accredited member of the the Law Society Mental Health panel scheme.
Lewis advises, assists and represents clients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. This includes attending a wide variety of hospitals including Low secure, Medium Secure and High Secure Hospitals. Lewis regularly advises and assists clients at Care Programme Approach Meetings (CPAs) and Section 117 Meetings. Lewis has experience in advising and assisting clients challenging their detention at Hospital Managers hearings and liaising with the client’s Multi-Disciplinary Team in order to put forward their views and instructions.

Lewis participated in the DAC Beachcroft mooting shield whilst at University and progressed to the semi finals with his team.
Personal Interests and Activities
Lewis is an avid guitarist and enjoys playing blues and heavy metal, He enjoys kite surfing and travelling. Lewis has travelled South East Asia extensively, including Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand. He used to live in Kuala Lumpur for two years when he was younger which gave him a broad insight into different cultures. Lewis also enjoys reading controversial fiction books.
