How can we help?

Divorce Law is highly specialised and can be both daunting and complex. At GN Law, our specialist team of Divorce Solicitors, Lawyers and Paralegals can help guide you through all aspects of the divorce process.

Our team fully understand that divorce and resolving matters relating to marital finances can be a very difficult and demanding time in a person’s life. Our divorce lawyers aim to take away the stresses and strains of these problems and provide tailor made solutions to all our clients. We aim to both assist our clients in the legal and functional sense of the word, but also from an emotional standpoint. We pride ourselves on the holistic approach we take to our work and can see the results in our clients as they begin to move on and rebuild their lives following a divorce.

Our solicitors can help secure a financial order to ensure that financial matters between you and your spouse are resolved fairly. We can also assist with obtaining a clean break order, which ensures that no future financial claims can be made by either party after the divorce. This gives you the clarity and freedom to move forward financially without ongoing obligations.

The GN Law Divorce Team is strong, efficient, and hardworking and will always fight your corner, whilst providing support whenever it’s needed. Our divorce lawyers pride ourselves on the quality of work delivered and our ability to identify the different needs of our clients and meet those needs with the time care and respect that they deserve.

GN Law is based in North Finchley in London, acting for clients both locally and further afield.

Our Divorce and Financial Matters team will deal with all aspects of this area of family law including:

Fixed Fee Divorce

We have a set of fixed fees as well as a ‘pay as you go’ option to help. They are designed to appeal to people who are confident about dealing with matters themselves and just need some basic advice as well as people who feel they would rather we did everything. Prices vary depending on what level of service you need or can afford.

The three main fixed fee services that we offer are: –

  • Option 1 is our FREE Guide to Divorce Proceedings for you to view immediately.
  • Option 2 is full representation where we take all the work off your hand.
    • Applicant – £895 (plus VAT)
    • Respondent – £495 (plus VAT)
  • Option 3 is a pay as you go option.
    • You can instruct us at our normal hourly rates to assist with specific tasks or problems when it suits your needs and budget.

We offer two types of fixed fee initial meetings on all or any aspects of family law including divorce, financial settlements and matters relating to children.

  • 1 hour consultation with no follow-up: £250 + VAT

Legal Aid

Legal Aid funding for divorce is only available in cases where you are able to provide documentary evidence of domestic violence AND where the client can demonstrate that they are financially eligible.

Financial eligibility for Legal Aid funding normally requires that the client be in receipt of benefits such as Universal Credit or Income-based Jobseekers Allowance. If you are working, you may be eligible if your earned income is under a certain level. If you have suffered domestic violence and wish to divorce, please call us or complete the contact form by clicking on the yellow Enquire Now button and we will contact you to confirm if you are eligible for Legal Aid funding and specify the documents that you would need to provide.

Secure a Fair Resolution

When GN Law represents your case, you can be assured it will be handled with the utmost competence. Working in your best interest, our aim is to make the law both simple and effective. The GN Divorce Team is supported by a team of lawyers who are specialists in other areas of law such as wills and probate, along with other areas within family law like domestic abuse and children matters. Therefore, whatever the issue, there will be experts available to help with your case.
