Wills

Planning today, Protecting tomorrow

Most people accept that planning for their future with the making of a will is a good idea; it ensures that your wishes are carried out after death.

Making a will with Guile Nicholas is a quick and easy process and can include important planning for your family’s future. Tax savings can be achieved and Trusts created to protect vulnerable relatives.

The Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) is the nationally recognised gold standard in this area of law. STEP members (TEPs) provide expert advice on how to comply with the often complex law and tax rules surrounding trusts, estates and inheritance. We have a STEP accredited supervisor at our Finchley office.

How it works

  • book an appointment with us and tell us you would like to use the Cancer Research wills scheme.
  • we will check that yours is a ‘simple’ will that we can prepare for you under the scheme and confirm if you are eligible.
  • you should consider if you would like to leave a gift in your will to Cancer Research (you don’t have to)
  • we then write your will for you and are are paid by Cancer Research.

Will Aid

GN Law have taken part in Will Aid for many years now, raising over £30,000 for many deserving charities. We are taking part again this year. The way it works is that we do your simple will for FREE and you make a donation to Will Aid. The scheme suggests certain donations for single and mirror wills but you can donate a different amount if you wish.

Free Wills Network

GN Law is a member of the Free Wills Network supporting 64 different charities. The Network has been devised to enable participating charities to offer the Free Wills concept to their supporters (this will be an agreed fixed fee which the charity pays on your behalf to us). Only simple single, simple mirror wills and codicils fall within this scheme.

Call us on 020 8492 2290 to see if you qualify for this scheme.
