Transparent Fees

The table below sets out our common charges. These are starting prices. We will advise you whether or not the will you want prepared falls neatly into one of these categories or if there are additional charges.

* Deeds of variation can vary in complexity. We offer fixed fees in the above range and will confirm the fixed fee once we understand your requirements.

Please note the above prices do not include VAT which is charged at 20%. The time estimate for us preparing your will is 7 days from the day that we have your full instructions.

Free Will Writing Schemes

GN Law also supports charitable giving through participation in free will writing schemes:

Cancer Research Will Scheme

Simply book an appointment and mention you’d like to use the Free Will Writing Cancer Research Scheme. Cancer Research pays us for drafting your simple will (current fees: £144 including VAT for a single will and £204 including VAT for mirror wills). If your will is more complex, we’ll advise you of any additional charges. To participate, you agree to make a minimum donation of £500 (per will) or 1% of your estate to Cancer Research in your will.

As of September 2024, GN Law has now helped raise over £1,363,419 in legacy gifts for Cancer Research UK.

Will Aid

During November each year, we offer a limited number of free simple wills with a suggested donation to participating charities. You can donate a different amount if you wish. Bookings appointments for the Free Will Writing Will Aid Scheme start on September 1st.

As of December 2024, GN Law is proud of our ongoing involvement with Will Aid, having raised over £50,000 for UK charities.
